However, the good news is this system is actually very flexible. It doesn't need any sort of special power cables to operate. Your can use Inix's add-on socket (which looks just like a normal socket) on each power plug that you would like control over and the control board in place on your central power board.

  Through the phone or PDA, you won't be receiving as much information, although you'll still be able to call up preset commands and turn on and off most appliances within the house.

How can I get this?
At the moment, Inix is working with various developers and investors to implement this technology in a number of up and coming condominiums, as a value-added features, which we think would be really nice to have. 
TOTAL CONTROL: This small little IR module allows you to transmit pre-programmed IR signals, e.g. to change the channels on the TV or control the Air-conditioning.

What's next?
When asked whether this technology could have applications in other areas (in particular the sending of data via power lines), Jimmy commented that many of the devices (usually low-cost) in this country generate a lot of noise, which causes signals to degrade over distance. making applications like surfing the Internet a challenge to implement.
  With the challenges they're already faced in terms of a self-funded project that's as innovative as it is potentially lucrative, don't be surprised to see your new bother-in-law showing SecureSmith off in his new condo sometime soon.

The implementation basically involves using Inix's own power sockets in place of normal ones.
AUTOMATED: You can program your lights and other appliances to go off or on based on a preset schedule. You can also pre-set IR commands for TVs and any other appliances that use a remote control.
