Local smart home security pioneer goes Anzac way

iNix Technologies Sdn Bhd has appointed Xtreme Logistics Pty Ltd as the exclusive distributor of its Secure Smith intelligent home and wireless home security system throughout Australia and New Zealand.

"With this appointment, Xtreme Logistics has committed to sell at least 2,500 sets of boxed Secure Smith systems", iNix business development manager Ralph Yew told In.Tech.

The appointment was sealed at the Ideal Home and Computer Home Technology Exhibition in Perth recently.

The do-it-yourself (DIY) Secure Smith sets each contain a basic main control panel capable of monitoring and controlling up to 22 "zones" in customers' premises, 10 digital wireless security sensors and three power-line automation modules for automatically switching home appliances on and off.

"We also recently installed Secure Smith systems in the Proton City smart township in Tanjung Malim, Perak and will be showcasing our power-line carrier and digital radio frequency-based system at the CeBIT Shanghai exhibition at the end of this month", said Yew.
