Venture Accelerate 2003 - 30 August 2004

Organized by Malaysian Venture Capital Association (MVCA), Bursa Malaysia, McKinsey & Co and Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM), the Venture Accelerate 2003 closing awards ceremony was held at the Renaissance Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 30th August 2004.

The event was officiated by our Deputy Prime Minister Dato?Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak in the presence of En. Yusli Mohamed Yusoff, CEO Bursa Saham Malaysia, Dr. Abdul Samad, Chairman of Malaysian Venture Capital Management Berhad and En. Norazharuddin Abu Talib, CEO of Malaysian Venture Capital Management Berhad.


The focus of Venture Accelerate 2003 is aimed at helping promising entrepreneurs and technopreneurs into successful start-ups. Inix Technologies has been awarded the ‘Most Promising Start-Up?together with Medijaring, which is involved in the online medical management system.

Attended the event were Inix’s CEO, Mr. Jimmy Tok Soon Guan, CTO, Mr. Cheong Kok Yai , COO, Mr. Azri Salleh, Business Development Manager, Mr. Ralph Yew Eng Teik and Ms. Elise Lau Chui Leh. Speaking at the event, Mr. Jimmy Tok expressed that Inix Technologies aims to pioneer the research and development of wireless security and intelligent home automation system with its flagship product, Secure Smith. He also explained that ?The product allows one to view the house remotely, via PDA or cellphone connected to the internet". The award has given new vigour to the Inix’s team to excel in their endeavor.
